| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about A Walk in the Clouds |
Paul (Reeves) is a nice boy on his way home after serving in the Army. He finds there is no longer a relationship for him with the woman he married just before shipping out, if there ever were one. He strikes up a friendship with a beautiful woman in distress (Sanchez-Gijon). She is pregnant, unmarried, and on her way home where she is sure to get the wrath of her traditionalist parents. He steps in to protect her honor, but gets kicked off the bus. And lo and behold, he gets ejected right by her family estate. When he arrives, her family starts testing him. Events and the truth gradually unfold as does their love and the seasons at the family vineyard. Beautiful cinematography.
