...TICK...TICK...TICK is a movie directed by Ralph Nelson in 1969.
In this small town of the deep south of the U.S.A., a new sheriff has just been elected. Jim Brown is black and he knows that it will be a tough job for him in a county where racism is still present everywhere. George Kennedy, the former sheriff will help him winning recognition when Brown must arrest a white youngster responsible of a deadly car accident. Whites and blacks will then unite to defend the town against the racist friends of the prisoner.
