| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Delta of Venus |
Elana Martin: (Audie England), was a beautiful American
erotic writer who lived in Paris, France during the eve of world war II. She was obsessed with an impecably handsome French erotic novelist named Lawrence, played by (Costas Mandylor).
When Lawrence left for N.Y., on a book tour, he anonymously kept in touch with Elana through the help of her publisher. He became a fan of her work. Lawrence criticized the lack of detailed sex in her stories, suggesting she write more explicitly.
Elana decided to experience various sexual liaisons.
After experiencing the craft of sexuality, she was able to write the most passionate, sexually explicit story, enough to draw Lawrence back to paris to confess his love for her.
Lawrence discovered her stories had been true. They were her sexual awakenings; She practiced them on him, just before the German's raided France.
