Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Gangs Inc.
As a kid, Rita Adams(Joan Woodbury) had seen her father gunned down by his fellows from the mob and she grew up in an orphanage. Even as the stigma of her father haunts her, Rita has an affair with a wealthy philanderer who tricks her into taking the rap for a hit-and-run misdemeanor. After spending a year in a woman's penitentiary, she seeks revenge on the people who set her up and starts a life of crime. In time she rises to head a crime syndicate. All this while while an undercover police officer Jimmy Kelly (Alan Ladd) who doubles up as the ganster Bill Dugan, tries to bust the gang and bring Rita back.
