| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about I'm Losing You |
Movie producer Perry Needham Krohn (Langella) finds out that he has inoperable cancer and only has a year or less to live as he is nearing his 60th birthday. He tells only his wife (Salome Jens) the truth about his fatal disease. His son Bertie (McCarthy), a has-been actor, has a drug addicted ex wife named Lidia (Gershon) and a young daughter named Tiffany (Aria Noelle Curzon)who's a handful. Bertie begins selling insurance policies to AIDS patients and then finds himself attracted to one (Perkins). He then is pushed almost over the edge when a car accident ends the life of both Lidia and his daughter. His stepsister Rachel (Arquette) learns through the course of the movie that her real father murdered her mother and then committed suicide. In the wake of the family tragedies the Krohn family grows closer to one another than they've ever been before.
