Alive is about human spirit and the triumph of courage in the face of extreme adversity and despair. It is Based on the true story of a Uruguyan rugby team who survive a plane crash but are abandoned in the snow swept Andes. When rescue operations are given up, all doors of survival seem to be closed for them. In course of time, they are forced to resort to cannibalism when they realize that the only food they have are the bodies of thier dead friends.
