| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about No Time for Sergeants |
Will Stockdale (Griffith) is drafted into the military. His homespun rural outlook and naiveté makes for plenty of problems, particularly with Sergeant King (McCormick). Stockdale seems a fish out-of-water, but he's determined to do his best for his country and commanding officer.
Griffith made his stage debut in this production. Many other cast members were also in the stage version, including Don Knotts.
