Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Men of Boys Town
Despite its successes, Boys Town is in financial straights. Long-time benefactor Dave Morris (Cobb) might not be able to help Father Flanagan (Tracy). As this drama unfolds, Whitey Marsh (Rooney) has been adopted by a wealthy, well meaning couple. He wants to visit a friend in the reformatory in the new car his adoptive parents have provided. Whitey finds that one of the inhabitants of Boys' Town has hidden in his car, unaware that the boy has been involved in a crime. Marsh is arrested for the crime and sent to the reformatory. There, audiences are shown through Whitey's experience, the cruelty of these institutions. Whitey begs Father Flanagan for help and help he does.

Sequel to the popular "Boys Town."
