THE COWBOYS is a movie produced and directed by Mark Rydell in 1972.
Wil Andersen has to get to market with his 1500 cows but finds nobody to drive the herd. Finally, he agrees to hire a bunch of kids to do the job. During this 600 miles journey, the kids will learn to become real cowboys as Wil passes on his know-how to them.
