| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Follow that Dream |
Toby Kwimper, played by Elvis Presley, comes to Florida with his family. Elvis and the two younger "kids" have lived with father Kwimper, taken in as orphans. They try to make a go of it on a Florida beach. At first they are just homesteading, but then they note that it is a desirable sportfishing area. Soon they set up boats for rent and before they know it they are running a resort. But a social worker thinks the kids should be in school and a government agent feels they are homesteading illegally. And meanwhile gangsters move in and set up an illegal casino because the area is outside of anybody's taxing jurisdiction. Will Toby get to follow his dream of supporting his family?
