| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Shooters |
Gil (Dempsey) has just gotten out of prison and is seeking out his friend, J (Howard), who is holding his money from their burglary for him. J has "invested" the money in drugs and guns, and has cooked up a scheme to get Gil's original money plus a substantial profit within a week. Gil isn't pleased. He sees that J is squandering what good things he does have: a wife and child. He is also angry that he is using children, including his own brother, in these nefarious schemes. Meanwhile, the capo of local crime named Max (Dunbar) who is pulling all the strings, including J's, is working on a drug deal with a Scottish supplier. Gil's only concern is leaving all this behind without being locked up, but it soon appears that will be the only outcome if they are unable to dodge a dogdy policewoman.
