Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Angus
Angus Bethune is gifted in science and talented at football, but suffers from the social stigma of being overweight. His main enemy at school is fellow football teammate Rick Sandford (who loves to humiliate Angus) and the love of his life is a girl who hardly notices him. Angus, who finds his support mainly in his heavyset mother and grandfather, must struggle with a series of difficulties, attain his goals, and win the love of his dream girl, who may not be so indifferent to him after all.
