| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Outbreak |
OUTBREAK is a movie directed by German born director Wolfgang Petersen (Das Boot) in 1995.
An extremely dangerous airborne virus is killing by dozen the population of a small California town. While the army is isolating the town, an army doctor (Dustin Hoffman) and his crew is searching for a cure. They'll eventually discover that this virus is not unknown to some militaries who'd preferred to wipe out the town rather than to help Hoffman find how this plague has entered the country.
