| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Trail to Hope Rose |
After getting out of jail, a man goes to a small town to find work. He finds a job working in a mine. He's unliked because he's a half-breed indian. The miners try to drive him out, but he won't budge. While living in the mining camp he befriends a pregnant woman who's being abused. He takes her in and protects her. When the woman's abusive man attacks her, she shoots and kills him. The half-breed agrees to marry her and help raise her baby as his own.
