| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Moonlight Mile |
MOONLIGHT MILE is a film written, produced and directed by Brad Silberling in 2002.
Joe Nast's fiancee has just been accidentally killed during a shoot-out. Joe stays at his fiancee's home with her parents Ben and Jojo. He doesn't know what to do with his life and doesn't dare tell Ben and Jojo that he and their daughter had split up three days before the tragic event. Joe is also persuaded that he's partly and involuntarily responsible for her death.
While Ben and Jojo are considering him almost as a son, Joe falls in love with Bertie Knox, a young woman who's also undergoing some emotional trouble. Bertie hasn't got over her boyfriend Cal's departure three years before and she's still hoping for his comeback.
