| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Garage Days |
GARAGE DAYS is an Australian movie written and directed by Alex Proyas (Dark City, the Crow) in 2002.
Four friends who play in a rock band desperately try to become rock stars. Their manager Bruno is a true fan of the band but isn't of much help to them. They finally are lucky enough to meet Shad Kern, THE Australian producer of the year, who agrees to hear a demo of the band. Now, they just have to raise 1,200 Australian dollars to rent a studio.
But things won't be so simple as that as each member of the band seems to undergo an emotional crisis at the same time. Freddy falls in love with Kate, the lead guitarist Joe's girlfriend and Joe falls for a nymphomaniac who won't let him alone. Tanya, the bass guitarist, and Toby, the drummer, also starts a love affair.
