| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Inside Moves |
A depressed young man named Rory seems to be a failure at everything he tries, including committing suicide. When a jump from a rooftop doesn't kill him but leaves him partially crippled, Rory goes through physical therapy and starts to hang out at a nearby bar frequented by misfits like himself. Rory becomes fast friends with the bartender, Jerry, a wannabe basketball pro who's trying out for the Golden State Warriors. Rory and the rest of the bar regulars do their utmost to ensure Jerry's success. At the same time, Rory -- convinced his handicap makes him unlovable -- has to work through his romantic feelings for a beautiful blonde.
