| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about I'll Sleep When I'm Dead |
Three years ago Will Graham (Owen) fled London to try to put his violent criminal past behind him. When his flaky but cherished younger brother Davey (Rhys-Meyers) turns up dead, an apparent suicide, Will quietly checks into the city and gradually learns that his brother was raped the day before his death. Brushing off his former mates, uneasy enemies, and Helen -- the strong, independent woman he still loves (a sadly underused Rampling) -- Will plots his revenge on the man who humiliated his brother. This 2004 noir thriller was directed by Mike Hodges.
