Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Garfield
Garfield's owner, John, is in love the vet, so when she asks him to adopt a dog, Odie, he agrees. Garfield isn't very pleased at first because Odie is getting more attention.
When Odie is kidnapped by a fame and money hungry TV host, Garfield is happy, but soon begins to miss him. He finds out where Odie is and sets out to rescue him. He's able to enlist the help of a pound full of animals.
Garfield is able to rescue Odie at the train station. With the help of the other animals, they're able to subdue the evil tv host. Garfield and Odie return home as friends, John starts dating the vet and everything appears to end happily ever after.

GARFIELD is a movie directed by Peter Hewitt in 2004.

Garfield the cat lives a perfect life in the company of his master John until the day John decides to adopt a dog. When the dog is kidnapped by the TV producer Happy Chapman, Garfield decides to help his master to set his new friend free.
