In this action/comedy a convict, Hatchett, is being transported along with many others. One convict plans on having his buddies rescue him by attacking the bus. They kill everyone except for Hatchett. Hatchett escapes and finds himself wanted for the attack. He calls a reporter to help him prove his innocence, while looking for the bad guys.
