Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Shampoo
Cowritten and produced by Warren Beatty, SHAMPOO is a film directed by Hal Ashby in 1974.

George Roundy is an hairdresser in Norman's shop in Beverly Hills. He wants to open his own business but can't find the money to do it. George's main problem is that he's too nice and can't resist his sexy customers's advances. So he gets into a lot of problems by sleeping with Felicia, Lester's wife and with Jackie Shawn, the mistress of the same Lester. Meanwhile, Jill, George's official girlfriend, doesn't see what's going on and still hopes that George will settle down, marry her and have a lot of children with her.
