Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Target
TARGET is a film directed by Arthur Penn (Bonnie and Clyde) in 1985.

Fifteen years ago, Walter Lloyd was a spy working for the C.I.A. in Europe. Now he and his family have got new identities and live a quiet life in Dallas, Texas. Walter's wife is kidnapped while on holiday in Paris. Walter and his son Chris take the plane to France and are soon the target of unknown killers.

As the French C.I.A. is unable to tell him who's responsible for his wife's kidnapping, Walter contacts his former boss who thinks that the person behind all that may be a former German spy -Schroeder- whose entire family was killed during a C.I.A. operation lead by Walter Lloyd when he was still active. Walter goes to East Berlin in order to meet Schroeder but still wonders why he's the target of killers who don't seem to work for the German spy.
