| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Intacto |
INTACTO is a film written and directed by the Spanish director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo in 2001. It won two Goyas (Spanish academy awards) in 2002.
For seven years now, Federico has searched for a person who could help him take revenge on Samuel, the owner of the Good Luck casino. Samuel has the power to steal luck from the one he touches and he has stolen it from Federico. Now Federico has found Tomas, the only survivor of a plane crash who seems to have another special gift : good fortune. Federico introduces Tomas to a secret gambling ring whose participants are lottery winners or people who cheat death in their life. Tomas must take part in a batch of games of chance with high stakes until the moment he's the only one to stay "intact" among the gamblers. Then Tomas will be able to meet Sam in order to play Russian roulette with the old man.
