Four men rob a Boston bank and get away with $2 million. The mastermind is wealthy buisnessman Thomas Crown. Crown thinks he's gotten away with it until he meets an insurance investagator Vicke Anderson who tells Crown he's her main suspect. The two graduly build a relationship while a cat and mouse game plays between Crown and the police who prepare to catch him during his next hiest on the same bank.
