| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Lesser Prophets |
LESSER PROPHETS is a movie directed by William DeVizia in 1997.
The NYC police is closely watching three bookmakers who manage to escape when Detective Iggy bursts in their apartement. Iggy's brother was one of the bookmakers's betters and when he commits suicide, Iggy will try to recover from the bookmakers the money they owe his brother. Meanwhile, Leon, a gentle retarded guy, gives a tip to the bookmakers who bet all their money on it. Unfortunately, the football team supposed to win loses and the panicking bookmakers plan to leave the city after having eliminated Leon. But they are arrested by Detective Iggy, who's not given up the idea of recovering his brother's money.
