Cosmo doesn't have the money to pay his debt to Mort and his associates who are mobsters. Mort strongly suggests Cosmoget even by performing a hit for the mob. All he has to do is to kill a Chinese bookmaker downtown. Left with no other choices, Cosmo kills the man who's in fact the head of the Chinese Triads of the west coast.
