| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Love Is All There Is |
This movie is a take on Romeo and Juliet with an italian American slant. Lainie Kazan plays Sadie Capomezzo who becomes worried when she goes to see her friend Mona who is is an a nutty herbal psychic. Mona tells her that the blessed Rocco (her imaginary saint) said her teenaged son will fall in love with the girl who is playing Juliet (Angelina Jolie) at the local church's performance of Romero and Juliet. Sadie's son does indeed fall for the beautiful Gina during the kissing scenes of the play and we watch as both sides of the feuding families go all out to stop them from getting married.
