| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Low Down Dirty Shame |
Keenan Ivory Wayans plays private detective Dick Shame. He once was an L.A. DEA officer, but was discharged after a bust went bad and he was blamed. His old friend played by Charles S. Dutton comes in one day to give him a chance to get revenge. The Mexican mafioso's girlfriend has been spotted in town and the police think she'll lead them to the kingpin. Since Shame once dated her, they think he has the inside track on how to catch up with her. He does, and then the sparks begin to fly. Shame finds out Dutton is on the take from the bad guys and the girl is still in love with him. In the meantime, his office partner and girlfriend, played by Jada Pinkett, is trying to watching out for him, but he's not making it easy.
