An expedition of American scientists enters the Borneo jungle in order to find blood orchids whose composition may lead to the production of medicines extending human life. As this flower blooms every four years only, they have to hurry. They hire Bill Johnson and his boat and start to sail up the river but, unfortunately for them, it's the beginning of the monsoon. After having lost the boat in a waterfall, the group goes on by foot through the jungle. They are soon attacked by huge anacondas that seem to have themselves tasted the blood orchids.
