| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about D-Tox |
D-TOX, based on a novel by Howard Swindle, was directed by Jim Gillespie in 2002.
FBI Agent Jake Malloy (Stallone) is in charge of a cop killer investigation. Nine policemen have died in six months and, this time, the killer wants to hurt Malloy bad and slaughters the detective's girlfriend. Three months later, Malloy has become a suicidal alcoholic and is brought to Kristofferson's rehab clinic lost in the Wyoming forests. There, in the company of a dozen policemen coming from the U.S., Canada and England, Malloy starts his therapy. But, like in Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians", the policemen are slaughtered one by one by a mysterious killer who'll turn out to be the one who killed Malloy's girlfriend.
