| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Hairdresser's Husband |
THE HAIRDRESSER'S HUSBAND (Le Mari de la Coiffeuse) is a French movie written and directed by Patrice Leconte in 1990.
This film tells the story of an obsessive love. Antoine, since the day he fell for a fleshy hairdresser during his holiday, always knew he would marry a hairdresser. Thirty years later, he meets Mathilde in her shop and both fall in love. For a ten years period, Antoine and Mathilde will scarcely leave their hairdresser's shop, won't have a social life, passing their time admiring, loving and watching each other.
