| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Life Without Dick |
Colleen Bigson (Sarah Jessica Parker) accidentally shoots and kills her cheating boyfriend, Dick (Johnny Knoxville), who happens to have a hitman on his tail. Colleen does not know that her boyfriend was next on the hitman's list. Danny (Harry Connick Jr.) is the hitman and works for his brother in law. Danny is an Irish Mobster, who hasn't actually killed anyone before, and his dream is to be a singer. Danny falls in love with Colleen and she likes him too. Romantic sparks fly between Colleen and Danny. When Danny finds that Colleen's done the job for him, love begins to develop between them.
