Two fools are arrested after selling homemade booze to a cop.
They get wrangled into an escape plot.
While the other cons are caught, the two fools get away. They disguise themselves with shoe polish and get jobs picking cotton with a group of slaves.
The warden's car breaks down and the two men try to help. The warden eventually recognizes them and returns them to prison.
The two fools get involved in another plot to escape.
However, this time, they accidentally sabotage the escape and inadvertantly keep the prisoners at bay until the guards can regain control.
For their heroic actions, the two fools are given full pardons.
