| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about La Commare Secca |
LA COMMARE SECCA (a.k.a. The Grim Reaper) is an Italian movie cowritten and directed by Bernardo Bertolucci in 1962.
A prostitute is found stabbed to death near the Tiber river. A police inspector is questioning the people who was in the park nearby minutes before the murder. While each of these suspects is telling him what he has done that very evening, the film shows us what has really happened as everybody is lying and distorting the truth.
