| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles |
Dundee (Hogan) is feeling his age and decides to move to LA when his wife, Sue Charleton (Kozlowski) gets a job offer there. Along with their son they move to the US while Dundee attempts to readjust to city life and Sue takes up a reporting assignment that killed her predecessor.
Bored of his domestic life in LA Dundee decides to act as a mole to help his wife uncover the bad guys for her article. He takes a job on the movie set that Sue is investigating and quickly becomes an animal handler (he is a crocodile hunter after all) on the project. He overhears the set designer describe the wasted money the producers are spending on shipping sets back and forth to Eastern Europe where the film is set. Dundeee uses his experience watching American movies to determine that the producers are actually shipping contraband instead of sets and that the entire film production is a cover-up for the crime. Soon Sue is kidnapped as she gets too close to the truth and Dundee must use his animal training skills to save her.
