| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about If the Shoe Fits |
Kelly Carter is an American in Paris, a hapless dresser who dreams of making it big with her shoe designs. She is in love with her boss, famous fashion designer Salvitore, but he doesn't know she exists.
Salvitore throws a ball to find his next top model. After her fairy godmother (disguised as a lost tourist) casts a spell on her "special" shoes, Kelly is transformed into the stunning and confident Prudence, whom Salvitore immediately hires and falls in love with. Thus follows a juggling act between Kelly/Prudence, as she struggles to keep her identities separate and get both professional recognition and love from Salvitore.
