Samantha goes scuba diving with her sister, who is eaten by a great white shark. The same shark is captured and kept at the new aquarium, against the advice of marine biologist Nick.
When Samantha discovers this is the same shark that ate her sister (the shark is missing an eye), she tries to kill the shark, but it eats an employee and escapes before she can do anything.
Nick and Samantha set out to capture the shark, aided by a crocodile hunter-wannabe, intent on filming the shark for his wildlife show.
