Review Summary and Plot Commentary about L.627
L.627 is a French movie co-written and directed by Bertrand Tavernier in 1992. This film was inspired by the drug addiction of his son Nils who also acts in L.627.

Lucien 'Lulu' Marguet is a policeman who's just been transferred to a new anti-drug unit after a quarrel with his alcoholic chief. So we're invited to witness the everyday life of this unit. Some of Lulu's colleagues are corrupt or incompetent, some simply demotivated. They spend a lot of time filming or watching the dealers before stepping in for a poor result. As for Lulu, he tries not to object to his new chief's arguable decisions and spends his free time taking care of Cecile, a drug-addicted prostitute, who's also an informer.
