Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Sugar & Spice
Diane Weston is the head chyeerleader at her high school and she one day meets the new boy: Jack Bartlett (Marsden) who is the gorgeous quarterback. The two quickly fall in love and she becomes pregnant. When they share that news with their parents they are thrown out.

The pair find a small apartment and they both take low-paying jobs. Diane and her teammates hatch a plan (without telling Jack) to raise money: they will rob a bank to help support the baby. Their plan includes watching old bank robbery movies to learn lessons but this doesn't work. They then decide to visit Kansas's (Suvari) mother, who is in jail and knows lots of criminals.

The girls then buy some cheap guns and hold up a local bank. They get away with the loot but someone knows that they are guilty and they land in jail.
