| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Repulsion |
In Roman Polanski's movie from 1965 we see a young woman, Carol Ledoux, a mentally ill person suffering from agoraphobia. She is left in her sister's apartment for a couple of days when the sister goes away. She cuts herself off from society and stays in the apartment. Her paranoia and fear of men and sexuality gives her hallucinations which takes her deeper and deeper into madness.
