Ethan is a big nerd and Dave is a professional cheater (he charges for his services) and smooth talker. One day Ethan catches his classmate, Dave, cheating on an exam and blackmails him into helping Ethan meet and date Angela, the girl of his dreams.
Dave reluctantly accepts the terms of the blackmail and starts to follow Angela. She is a beautiful coed who is way out of their league. Angela is so so pretty and smart and funny that Dave quickly falls in love with her himself. Dave is a liar and con artist and he has no way to impress Angela so he builds a story of lies to get her attention. Soon the pair get together and Ethan finds out. Ethan, who is so disgusting that he has an Angela doll that he made from strands of her hair, is jealous of Dave and tells her the truth about him. Angela argues with Dave and dumps him breaking his heart and threatening his college career.
