| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Spy Kids |
Floop, a kid's show host, secretly plans to take over the world. As part of his plan he kidnaps the world's top spies including Gregario and his former enemy-turned-wife Ingrid. It turns out that Gregorio, by then retired, possesses the powerful Third Brain that Floop needs to complete his plan. Their kids, Carmen and Juni, realize that they must rescue their parents.
Carmen and Juni go to their uncle and pick up top secret tools (think James Bond for kids) to rescue their parents. They quickly learn how to use these techno gadgets (like a tracing device that looks like gum). Carmen and Juni then steal a super-vehicle which can fly, float, and go under water as they invade Floop's hideout in a secret island castle.
