| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Daddy Nostalgia |
DADDY NOSTALGIA (Daddy Nostalgie) is a French movie directed by Bertrand Tavernier in 1990.
Caroline comes to the French Riviera to see her father who's recovering from a heart attack. She will stay at her parents's house a few weeks during which she'll talk a lot with her Dad. The old man is suffering a great deal but is unable to express any feelings to her daughter who's waiting in vain for marks of affection. One day, she's told by the doctor that her Daddy has only a few months left to live.
