| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Volcano High |
VOLCANO HIGH (Whasango) is a Korean movie co-written and directed by Tae-gyun Kim in 2001.
The setting is the Volcano High school. Kim, a teen who has been expelled from numerous other schools, arrives at Volcano. He's soon asked by the leaders of the three main groups that reign over the school to choose a clan. Kim who has the power to manipulate force wants to stay neutral and doesn't mind letting Jang Rang become the school's number one bad boy.
Things become out of hand when the school president hires a bunch of new teachers. Each one of these professors is an expert in martial arts and Mr. Ma even masters paranormal powers such as levitation and mind control. After a few acrobatic fights, Jang Ran and the other clan leaders are beaten by Mr. Ma whose intention is to brainwash the rebellious students so that they become at last studious.
