Review Summary and Plot Commentary about No Way Back
No Wat Back stars Russell Crowe as Zack Grant, an F.B.I. agent out for revenge. Zack's partner Seiko (Kelly Hu) is killed during a botched F.B.I operation in which Victor Salerno also died. Zack attempts to find the person behind this and goes to New York to find and bring back Yakuza assassin Yuji Kobayashi (Etsushi Toyokawa) to L.A. In the meantime, Victor's father Frank Salerno (Michael Lerner), a Mafia kingpin, kidnaps Zack's son as bait in exchange for Yuji, the mastermind behind the death of his son Victor. On the flight back to L.A. Yuji breaks free from Zack and hijacks the plane, forcing it to land in Arizona. Yuji gets away and somehow stewardess Mary (Helen Slater) and Zack get stuck together in the middle of the desert.
