Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Diggstown
Gabriel Caine (Woods), a con man fresh out of jail, stops by a small city called Diggstown to catch a boxing match.
While at the bout, a local businessman talks him into making a bet that will be hard to accomplish.
That bet is Caine has to find a boxer who will have to knock out 10 Diggstown men in a boxing ring in a 24 hour period. 48-year-old former heavyweight contender “Honey” Roy Palmer (Gossett Jr.) is that man.
Considered too old to box by many, Palmer trains for the fights of his life. As the 10 fighter tournament starts, Honey and Caine learn the town has a few con moves of their own.
