| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about An American Christmas Carol |
Mr. Benedict Slade is a cold, hardened businessman who takes away his townsmen's joy of Christmas by taking away their much needed belongings that they cannot pay for.
As Mr. Slade closes a bookstore and confiscates books, he comes across Charles Dicken's "A Christmas Carol," reads a few paragraphs and throws the book aside with a scoff. Little does he know that he is about to experience a similar adventure, with the ghosts of the Past, Present, and Future visiting him, and a similar change of heart.
