| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Slaughter |
Jim Brown stars as Slaughter, a former Green Beret who is seeking vengeance for the death of his family. Slaughter's father stumbled onto a computer code that the mafia wanted so they blew up his car to make sure the secret wouldn't get out. After leaving the hospital, Slaughter goes to see a female friend of his father. The house gets shot up and right before she dies she lets Slaughter know that the mafia will be leaving at the airport at a certain time. Slaughter goes there and kills one member, maims another, and blows up the airplane, but one guy gets away. It just so happens that the FBI was staking the airport out for weeks and Slaughter ruined their case. With no evidence left for the FBI because it all burned up with the plane, Slaughter is sent to Mexico to kill the remaining member who killed his family. But the plan didn't turn out smooth. Just as the mob leader Mario Felice (Norman Alfe) was about to serve up the man who killed slaughter's family, his organization turned on him, making the ending an exciting chase sequence through Mexico.
