| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about A Goofy Movie |
Max is the teenage son of the classic Disney character Goofy. He's embarrassed by his dad's silly antics, especially since he's trying to impress Roxanne, a girl from school. When Goofy decides to take Max on a fishing trip across the country, Max lies to Roxanne to impress her, saying that they are going to the big PowerLine concert in Los Angeles. Max goes on the fishing trip with his father against his will, and resents his father's efforts. When Goofy puts Max in charge of the map as a show of goodwill, Max takes advantage of the situation by secretly changing their course to Los Angeles so that he can go to the PowerLine concert. Will Max make it to L.A., win Roxanne's heart, and do it without destroying his relationship with his father?
