| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Ruby |
Jack Ruby (Danny Aiello) owns a run-down strip club in Dallas, and gives information to the FBI and while doing the odd favor for his mafia contacts. When a hitman is killed, Louie Vitali asks him to help get mafia boss Santos Alicante out of a Cuban jail. When they get back, the mafia bosses take his headliner Candy Cane (Sherilyn Fenn) under their wing to develop her career in Las Vegas.
But the real reason is to plant her as a mistress with none other than the President of the United States John F. Kennedy. Slowly all the pieces of a massive conspiracy begin to emerge and JFK is assassinated in Dealy Plaza. Soon Ruby will have to kill supposed assassin Lee Harvy Oswald in a desperate attempt to bring the conspiracy to light.
